Here we explain what data may be collected, why it is used, who it may be shared with and what your rights are.
In brief
Veloria Finance is an information and application-collection platform. Submitting the form allows your application to be transmitted for assessment under the proposed process; it does not mean approval or a promise of financing.
The elements shown in brackets must be replaced with real information before the site is launched in a production environment. This page must be reviewed with the data controller and the service providers actually chosen.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Veloria Finance, whose registered office is at Dariaus ir Girėno g. 68A, LT-74185 Jurbarkas, Lithuania, registered under company number 304940180. 2. Data collected
Depending on the form used and the information you enter, we may process:
- Data provided directly: first name, last name, email address and phone number (application form); name, email address and message (contact form).
- Project-related data: type of financing, amount and duration wanted.
- Situation data: employment status and declared monthly income.
- Technical data: hashed IP address, browser identifier and technical logs, only if actually generated and necessary for security purposes.
Required fields are marked on the forms. We recommend not sending any sensitive or unnecessary data.
3. Purposes and Veloria's role
- Receiving and processing your application so it can be assessed within the proposed financing process.
- Contacting you about your application or a message sent through the site.
- Ensuring the security of the site, preventing misuse and managing incidents.
- Complying with legal obligations and responding to requests from competent authorities.
Veloria Finance must not be presented as a lender or decision-making body where it acts as a platform or intermediary. A submitted application is not a loan decision.
4. Legal bases
The legal basis depends on the specific purpose:
- Processing your application: pre-contractual steps taken at your request, or another applicable basis, depending on Veloria's actual role.
- Responding to a message: pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest, depending on the content of the message.
- Security and misuse prevention: legitimate interest, subject to the applicable balancing of interests.
- Legal obligations: legal obligation.
- Marketing, if implemented: consent, where required.
The consent checkbox on the form confirms that you have read the processing described here; it does not replace the specific legal basis applicable to each purpose.
5. Data recipients
Data is accessible to authorised staff who need it and, where applicable, to processors actually used, responsible for hosting, the database, email delivery, maintenance and security. The real service providers must be identified and documented before publication, including LWS (lws.fr) (hosting and database) and Resend (email notification service). Competent authorities may also receive data where required by law. No data is sold to third parties.
6. Retention periods
Personal data is retained for a period proportionate to the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the data and the processing context.
- Data required to fulfil a legal obligation: the period provided for by the applicable law.
- Cookies: according to the duration of each cookie, set out in the cookie policy.
7. Security
Veloria Finance implements technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Depending on the infrastructure actually used, these measures may include encrypted transmission, access control, system protection, backups, incident monitoring and restricting access to authorised staff only. The measures actually applied must be verified before publication.

9. Data transfers outside the European Economic Area
No data transfer outside the European Economic Area should be either confirmed or ruled out without checking the service providers actually used. If such a transfer exists, its destination, legal mechanism and applicable safeguards must be stated here: [to be completed if applicable].
10. Cookies and complaints
Cookies are described in the cookie policy. Without prejudice to any other rights, you may lodge a complaint with VDAI (the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania) or the competent supervisory authority in your country of residence.
